How to Remove Babylon Isearch on your Mozilla Firefox

Everybody loves free internet downloads. Me, myself is fond of free softwares online. who woudn’t love FREE items? The best things in life are FREE! Yet, most doesn’t know the consequence of downloading products online. There are plenty of problems we might get in when we download FREE unsafe items in the internet. One of them are malware. Downloaded softwares for free maybe containing malwares which are harmful to our personal computers. This way it comes up to the very important guard we would love to have on our computers which is an antivirus. It has a lot of security offers to our daily computer utilization including downloading. It includes blocking up of malwares in which we all know is fatal not just to our PC but also to our stored personal informations including passwords and usernames and pin numbers.

Few weeks ago I notice something isn’t right in my mozilla firefox browser. I was randomly downloading several items when afterwards, I noticed that my default homepage/browser was set into babylon. that when I open new tab, it directly opens a babylon search engine which I never did set. I immediately removed it in my search tab at the upper right corner near the homepage icon.

I clicked the icon and seach engine options did appear. Clicked the bottom most option (manage search engine) and disabled/removed babylon.

Right after that, I checked the changes. Opened a new tab, but OMG! There isn’t any change! Still babylob is the default seach engine. I then went to settings in my firefox browser located on the upper left corner.

I set homepage to default mozilla page. Whooahh! There’s no change at all.

I really was so desperate to remove it as I realize that it might be a virus.

Next thing I did was to go to control panel and found babylon there and immediately unistalled it. No way! Babylob is still appearing! I almost gave up. I searched for answers online but i neither helped me.

Next action was I clicked start and typed babylon. I found out that there was many babylon folders and etc still residing on my computer. Immediately, I clicked my compueter and searched for babylon in the search bar in the upper right corner. I deleted everything that appears in the search result. I was so excited to see the result. But OMGGGGG! This heck virus is very resistant to changes! downloaded norton malware eraser but it found no babylon.
Still, hope sticks with me. I seached again for an answer online. and I stumble to one of firefox org forums and found this about:config matter.  No second thought, opened a new tab and typed in the URL bar “about:config”. This was the resulting screenshot:

I wasn’t hesitant to click “I’ll be careful, I promise”. After that, I came up to this page:

I typed Babylon unto the search bar and hit it and found baylon items. I right clicked one and I found no delete option. It was so d*sg*st*ng! But hope is still in. Since there isn’t any delete or remove option, I resorted to the very bottom option which is RESET. Without thinking for any damage I may be causing, I reset everything. right clicked all the items and reset all of them.

Immediately closed the tab and EUREKA! When I opened a new tab this was I found:

It’s the Mozilla firefox default page! I made it!
Lesson: Don’t lose hope. Every odd has a solution. 🙂

MOV/MP4 files exported from programs such as iMovie, Final Cut Pro, and QuickTime Pro have certain elements that are not handled well by YouTube transcoding. In order to ensure optimal upload quality–and specifically that the Audio and Video of the file remain in sync–use the encoding settings outlined below.

EXPORT YOUR VIDEO USING QUICKTIME

In iMovie, select Share >> Export Using QuickTime
In Finalcut Pro, select File >> Export >> Using Quicktime Conversion > Options
In QuickTime Pro, select File >> Export >> Export: Movie to QuickTime Movie >> Options

ALTER YOUR VIDEO ENCODING

1. Enter a name for your file, and select Movie to QuickTime Movie from the Export dropdown.

2. Click Options and make the following changes to Video settings:

Compression Type: H.264
Frame Rate: 30 is preferred. 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97 are also acceptable.
Data Rate: Automatic
Key Frames: Automatic
Frame Reordering: Unchecked

3. Make the following changes to Audio or Sound settings:

Format: AAC
Click Show advanced settings and choose Constant Bit Rate as encoding strategy.

4. Select Size and choose the original size of the video.
5. The section Prepare for Internet Streaming must be set to Fast Start.

6. Save your video

Creating Your Own Website

Professional websites do look very stunning. It’s one of the reasons that visitors love to stay and go back every time. Usually, that kind of eye catching website designs are made by experienced and professional wed designers. They are paid to design a certain website for those companies or even a small business owner who wants to have an online branch of their business. Mostly, they are highly paid due to the fact that web designers are rare. Information Technology graduates are the ones dominating in the website designing path. It’s because they are not only used to facing figures on the computer but they are well educated on the details of it. Not to mention the terms being used and the codes that a website constitutes.

Did it came to your thoughts that an ordinary, newbie internet surfer can design his or her own website? Yes, designing a website doesn’t require to be an expert when you only use it for personal reasons (personal website). Even an online store, it can be made easily. Me myself has been making few free websites. It takes no professionalism but a desire and enjoyment while doing it. There are hosts which offers free hosting of subdomains. You can visit the following to explore their features on free website making.

* Webstarts

–This offers many features suitable for new users. With easy drag and drop interface, no programming skills needed. Here is the full feature:

• Easy drag and drop interface. No programming skills needed.

• Includes your hosting, web address, and design tools.

• Get a custom domain name (Example: YourSite.com).

• Your domain name will automatically be online in minutes.

• Get your site found on Google, Yahoo, Bing, and more.

• Sites built with WebStarts are search engine friendly.

That is the full pro features. Of course, you can create it free. most of it’s widgets are available on free subscription. Only few are exclusive for upgraded accounts. And the best part is, you get paid to your referrals when they upgrade. Easy money just referring and making passive money when that referee decides to upgrade to make the most out of the features. It also has e-commerce widget which is suitable for online merchants

* Weebly

— Named one of TIME’s 50 Best Websites. Weebly also has an easy, drag & drop interface to create your own website. It’s free, powerful, and professional.

A free account gives you access to the majority of the features on Weebly, plus unlimited pages, bandwidth, and storage space (with a limit of 5MB per file uploaded).

The Weebly Pro service includes all the features of the free service, plus the fantastic features. A free account can be upgraded to Pro at any time and costs less than $5 per month! If after you upgrade, you find Weebly Pro is not for you, no problem — they offer a 30 day, no questions asked, money-back guarantee. However, Weebly pro does not include free domain name. It is separate from upgrading the subscription.

To buy your own domain, go to Settings and click change site address.

Then select Option B and enter the domain name you want to register.

* Wix

— The easy and fast way to create a website made with HTML 5 and Flash. The result website is beautiful and stunning. Although designing is more complex than weebly and webstarts, it’s worth the job and patience, for the result is fantastic. It’s an ideal site for creating personal websites such as celebrities and even with ordinary people who wants to feature their portfolios online. the themes are quiet more attractive. Everything is google friendly. Paypal button is just a click away from embedding. It is also ideal for online stores. There are ready made themes for an online store which is very beautiful and requires just a little touch to customize. I can say, it’s very friendly, but the only disadvantage as far as I see is the advertisement of Wix which will definitely appear at the very front of your made website when opening. It’s kinda disgusting. For me, that is their weak part. Upgrading to pro will is the only way the ads will disappear. Overall, the result is nice and you will really have a stunningly attractive website, hosting free and easy to design.

Before you upgrade to your chosen host, make sure you review for promos. Sometimes they cut off their price exclusively for their free members. You can see it in your back office and in their emails, so check your email box frequently.
